About the Case
The VW Group admitted on September 20, 2015, that the emission values of diesel cars had been manipulated.
The consequences on the financial markets were dramatic for the shareholders of the Volkswagen Group; the share price plummeted enormously. The Volkswagen Group should have informed market participants much earlier via an ad-hoc announcement about the failure to meet emission values.
The omission of ad-hoc announcements and the false information that was disseminated justify the shareholders’ claim for damages from their investment in VW shares. AdvoFin offers individuals, companies, and institutional investors who were shareholders of the Volkswagen Group on September 20, 2015, the opportunity to participate in the class actions in Germany.
