Entering into litigation funding with AdvoFin or participating in one of our collective actions is cost-free and risk-free for you! AdvoFin finances the costs of the proceedings (both in and out of court) and, in the event of success, receives a share of the proceeds as compensation for assuming the litigation risk.

Is a review of my potential claims possible free of charge?

Certainly. Following your contact and submission of the required documents, AdvoFin’s staff will review your claims free of charge and directly discuss the possible next steps with you.

Do I retain my claims, or does AdvoFin purchase them from me?

As a rule, you retain your claims. AdvoFin acts solely as a litigation funder. The proceedings are conducted by an attorney authorized by you.

How long does the enforcement of my claims typically take?

This varies greatly from case to case and depends on the complexity of the case as well as the opposing party’s willingness to resolve it. AdvoFin would be unprofessional to make a blanket statement.

Is legal action always initiated immediately?

No. Depending on the case, individual lawsuits (as test cases) or a multitude of lawsuits are filed. AdvoFin naturally bears the cost risk.

Does AdvoFin file suit in my name or its own?

AdvoFin does not file lawsuits itself. Any potential legal action will be conducted by the attorney you commission.

What happens if a lawsuit filed in my name is lost? Do I bear any risk here?

No. AdvoFin bears the cost risk entirely. You incur no costs or risks as a result.

I have a claim that is not actively pursued by AdvoFin as part of a project. Does AdvoFin also finance such claims?

AdvoFin reviews and finances individual cases with a claim value of €1 million or more. You are welcome to submit your inquiry here.

Our clients regularly receive information about their proceedings via email or post. Furthermore, you can stay informed in our news sections and on our social media channels.

From what claim amount can I register for litigation funding?

Participation in projects managed by AdvoFin is possible regardless of the amount of your damages. Individual financing inquiries for individual claims are reviewed from a claim amount of €1 million.

Which documents are required by AdvoFin for the pursuit of my claims?

The required documents are highly case-dependent and can be found in the respective registration forms for each project. Our employees will contact you if the submitted documents are incomplete or if further documents are required.

Are there cases/damages that AdvoFin generally does not accept?

No. It is AdvoFin’s business principle to work independently and across legal counsel. AdvoFin makes independent decisions regarding financing offers and is not influenced by powerful opponents or case-specific constraints.

What is AdvoFin's share in the event of success?

This is case-dependent. However, the share typically amounts to 25% – 37% of the proceeds obtained for the client.

Is the enforcement of my claims also conceivable out of court?

Yes. An out-of-court settlement with the opposing party is also conceivable and has been achieved multiple times through out-of-court compromises.
